Cameron scores lone goal as Skyhawks win third-straight with second OT win of week

RINDGE, N.H. (September 21, 2019) – Stonehill College, ranked No. 8 in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II poll, played extra hockey for the second time this week and third time this season overall, in pinning a 1-0 overtime triumph over Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 Conference field hockey action at Sodexo Field this afternoon.

Sophomore Olivia Cameron's second goal of the year was the difference as Stonehill ran its win streak to three games (all in NE10 play) with a second-straight overtime win. After splitting a pair of double-overtime decisions already this season, the Skyhawks were able to settle today's matchup in the first ten minute extra period as Cameron stuffed in a rebound at the left post for the lone goal of the day. Stonehill has won twice in overtime this week (2-1 overall), both 1-0 finals, after defeating No. 7 Assumption College by that score line at home on Wednesday in double-overtime.
