Sophomore Danielle Kempf scored three goals and assisted on another, while freshman Leah Savage registered four saves for the shutout to lead Adelphi to the win over a Stonehill team which is ranked No. 1 in Division II for the first time in program history. Seniors Emily Power and Kate Manson also potted goals for the Panthers, with Manson also dishing out an assist.

Senior Sara Freedman finished with seven saves in the Stonehill goal, conceding three of the five goals before being lifted late for more attack, as the Skyhawks were shutout for the first time this season.

Kempf opened the scoring with 11:48 remaining in the first half when she took a pass from the far post by sophomore Jackie Brown and pushed it past Freedman. Kempf doubled the Panthers lead with 11:12 left in regulation off a pass from the right side by Manson to spark a four-goal outburst by Adelphi in the closing 12-minutes that would seal the win.

Power scored her fourth goal of the season off a pass from sophomore Alexandra Kanapes with less than ten minutes remaining.
