All four Stonehill field hockey selections are first time All-Americans, led by senior back Courtney Foley (Wakefield, Mass./Wakefield Memorial) who is a consensus first team selection on the Longstreth/NFHCA and womensfieldhockey.com squads. Classmate Lindsey Pinkham (Skowhegan, Maine/Skowhegan) and junior Kathryn Nelson (Shrewsbury, Mass./Shrewsbury) are also consensus All-America picks with Pinkham named to the womensfieldhockey.com first team and Longstreth/NFHCA second team and Nelson earning second team honors by both. Senior Laura Noce (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln-Sudbury) collected Longstreth/NFHCA second team honors to round out the four honorees.

Foley, the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year and a first team All-Conference selection, spearheaded a defensive unit which ranks second in the NE-10 with eight shutouts (3^rd nationally) and third with a 1.63 team goals against average (8^th), while limiting opponents to just 10.4 shots per game, including 6.2 on goal, and 6.5 penalty corners per game. She leads the team with eight assists (9^th NE-10) to go with six goals for 20 points, netting three game-winning goals. She also chipped in with two defensive saves this fall.

Foley, named the NE-10 Defensive Player of the Week four times and womensfieldhockey.com Division II Player of the Week once this season, earned All-Tournament team honors at the NCAA Championships this season and participated in the NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game in Louisville, Ky., earlier this month, scoring a goal for the North All-Stars. She appeared in 61 games over her Stonehill career, starting 45, and totaled 12 goals and 15 assists for 39 points with four gamewinning goals. She earned NFHCA All-Academic honors as a sophomore and junior.

Pinkham, a two-time All-NE-10 honoree with her first team selection this fall, finished second on the team with 24 points and nine goals to go with six assists, netting two gamewinning goals this fall. She is also Stonehill's primary corner passer, with the Skyhawks leading the NE-10 with 11.48 penalty corners per game (3^rd nationally) after leading all of Division II in 2009 under her direction. Pinkham earned NE-10 Player of the Week honors once this fall, was named to the All-Tournament team at the NCAA Division II Championships and participated in the NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game.

Pinkham, also an NFHCA Division II All-Academic squad member, has played in 87 games over her career, with 68 starts, totaling 22 goals and 16 assists for 60 points, scoring seven gamewinning goals. She is also an All-Conference performer on Stonehill's indoor track team, capturing the 800-meter championship last winter.

Nelson, a second team All-NE-10 selection this fall, led Stonehill with 41 points (6^th NE-10) and 19 goals (3^rd) to go with three assists, scoring a Conference-high nine gamewinning goals – three coming in overtime. Nelson ranks eighth nationally in goals per game and 12^th for points per game. She earned NE-10 and womensfieldhockey.com Division II Player of the Week honors once this season and earned All-Tournament team honors at the NE-10 Championships.

Nelson, an NE-10 All-Rookie team selection as a freshman in 2008, has appeared in 62 games over her career at Stonehill, with 45 starts, and totaled 33 goals and six assists for 72 points, scoring ten career gamewinning goals. She has also earned NFHCA Division II All-Academic honors as a freshman and sophomore.

Noce, a three-time NFHCA All-Academic squad selection, started all 17 games she played in her final collegiate season and dished out two assists for two points. She was also a key member of a Stonehill defensive unit which ranks second in the NE-10 with eight shutouts (3^rd nationally) and third with a 1.63 team goals against average (8^th), while limiting opponents to just 10.4 shots per game, including 6.2 on goal, and 6.52 penalty corners per game. Both of her assists came in a 3-2 comeback win at rival Bentley University on October 5.

Noce, named to the All-Tournament team at the NE-10 Championships this fall, has appeared in 46 games over her career, starting 34, and totaled three career assists.

Stonehill (16-7, 9-1 NE-10) wrapped up its season at the Fall Championships Festival with a semifinal round loss to UMass Lowell. The Skyhawks were ranked fifth in the final Kookaburra/NFHCA Division II poll and finished second in the NE-10 standings to the River Hawks.
