The Skyhawks are looking to build off last week's 41-20 triumph over Southern Connecticut State University here in Easton, while the Setters are on the road for just the third time this season, looking to build off last week's 35-25 win over American International College.

This afternoon's game marks the final home game for 18 seniors on the Stonehill football program. This year's senior class have been key members of a program that has won 18 games over the last four years and earning back to back NE10 Team Academic Awards the last two years. This year's senior class are Kyle Cantalupo (Candia, N.H.), Andrew D'Amico (New Fairfield, Conn.), Robert Fitzgerald (Methuen, Mass.), Casey Gervais (New Boston, N.H.), Matt Haite (Pembroke, Mass.), Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.), Frank Jerkovich (Secaucus, N.J.), Sam Lehman (Hopkinton, Mass.), Michael Lewis (Hampton, N.H.), Tim O'Brien (Oakland, N.J.), Greg Powell (New Rochelle, N.Y.), Zac Pungitore (Norwood, Mass.), Wilson Rogers (Weymouth, Mass.), Ryan Shuts (Mount Laurel, N.J.), Kyle Smith (Wallingford, Conn.), Miles Strickland (Teaneck, N.J.) and Malik Wiggins (Long Branch, N.J.). Junior Nick Zullo (Tewksbury, Mass.) will also participate in Senior Day as he will head to Notre Dame through the College's three and two engineering program, while senior Maurice Greene (Clifton, N.J.) will take part in Senior Day with his classmate, but will return for a fifth-year next fall.

Offensive Player of the Week
Sophomore running back Justin Felder (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) was named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday after posting the first 300-yard rushing game in program history in last week's 41-20 triumph over Southern Connecticut State. Felder carried the ball 24 times for a program-record 314 yards and two touchdowns, all but the final touchdown plunge coming over the first three quarters of play. He posted 98 yards on six carries in the first quarter, had 190 yards in the first half on 12 attempts and then added 123 on nine carries in the third quarter, before finishing his day with his second touchdown from a yard out on the first play of the fourth quarter to give Stonehill a 41-13 lead.

Cornering the Market
Two Stonehill student-athletes have collected five of the nine NE10 Offensive Player of the Week awards handed out this season after sophomore Justin Felder (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) was selected for the third time this season on Monday. He has also earned the weekly honors on September 23 and October 5 after wins over Saint Anselm and American International. Senior Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) earned the honors for the second time this season after his 14 reception, 187 yard game against Bentley, in which he also passed for a touchdown and converted a two-point conversion run. Jamiel, who has earned the honors four times over his career, picked up the award for the first time after the Skyhawks week one win over Bloomsburg.

Rookie of the Week
Junior quarterback Anton Stoneking (Clayton, N.C.) earned NE10 Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season on Monday for his efforts in Saturday's 41-20 win over Southern Connecticut State. He engineered another balanced offensive effort that produced 533 total yards, by completing 17-of-22 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns, while adding another on the ground. His 15-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter opened the scoring and then his 39-yard TD pass in the second gave the Skyhawks a 24-0 lead after posting his nine-yard TD run earlier in the quarter. Stoneking first earned Rookie of the Week honors after Stonehill's 38-14 win at Saint Anselm in week three.

He's Honored
Junior defensive end Nate Bresson (Torrington, Conn.) earned a spot on the NE10's weekly honor roll for his efforts in Saturday's 41-20 win over Southern Connecticut State. He was a force in the backfield for the Skyhawks, posting a sack and forced fumble, with 1.5 tackles for loss. He finished the day with two tackles (one solo).

What's the Scenario
Stonehill enters this weekend's games still capable of clinching at least a share of the NE10 regular season championship. The Skyhawks need to win out today against Pace and next Saturday at New Haven and also need New Haven to win at Assumption this afternoon. Stonehill could win the title outright with two wins, an Assumption loss to New Haven and then losses by Bentley in either of their last two games and an Assumption to lose its last two games.

Splitting the Uprights
Senior placekicker Matt Haite (Pembroke, Mass.) enters today's game just one PAT from tying the program's career record of 113 set by Steve Grzywacz '16 (GRIZ-wack). Haite broke Grzywacz's career record for field goals when he kicked the 34th of his career at Franklin Pierce on October 12, having now totaled 41 field goals and has also broken the program's career scoring mark with his 235 points, surpassing Grzywacz record of 212. Haite has converted 93.3-percent (112-120) of his extra point tries in his career, which is on pace to break  Brendan Gorey's '10 program record (93.2%) for career PAT percentage. Haite ranks second all-time for career FG percentage at 71.9% (41-57).

It's Been a While
Sophomore running back Justin Felder (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) has posted just the fourth 1,000-yard rushing season with his NE10-leading 1,038 yards (11th nationally) on 169 attempts in eight games. He's Stonehill's first 1,000-yard season since Eddie Vachon, '11 posted 1,117 yards in 2010. He enters today's game 68 yards behind Mike McSharry '98 (1,106) for third on the program's single-season list and 229 yards away from Tyrone Jefferson's '01 single-season record of 1,267 yards in 2000.

The Skyhawks lead the NE10 and rank 17th nationally in total defense (285.0 yds/gm), while ranking 18th nationally for pass defense (162.1 yds/gm), fifth for first down defense (15.1/gm), 22nd for pass efficiency defense (103.94) and seventh in third down defense (26.5%). His reception total ranks second in NE10 history behind NCAA record-holder Justin Bernard from Saint Anselm (386) after moving Dallas Mall of Bentley (283) at Assumption, ranking ninth in NCAA Division II history for career receptions per game. Jamiel is also third among Division II active receivers with his program-record 3,443 career yards (7th all divisions) and fourth with 92.9 yards per game (9th all divisions).

High Powered Offense

150 Years of College Football
2019 marks a special milestone for college football, as it celebrates 150 years of the great game. Teams will recognize the birth of college football with a national all-division celebration among nearly 900 schools. Played longer than almost any sport in America, college football had its first contest in 1869 - just four years after the Civil War, when students from Princeton and Rutgers came together to compete on a campus field, November 6, 1869. The sport has touched millions on and off the field - shaping our lives and communities. Follow College Football 150 and visit cfb150.org throughout teh 2019 season to commemmorate the 150th anniversary of college football.
