Down 4-0 in the fifth inning, Stonehill mounted a rally of its own. Sophomore Brian Hocking (Duxbury, Mass./BC High) got things started with a single up the middle, and Lee followed with another single. After both runners advanced on a sacrifice bunt, Campbell cut Bridgeport's lead in half with a two-run single to left center. Later in the inning, Stonehill tied the contest on a two-out, two-run double to left field by Fratus.

Stonehill followed its big fifth inning with three more runs in the sixth. After Hocking drew a one out walk, Lee doubled to put runners on second and third.
