    EASTON, Mass. (July 24, 2012) – A total of 240 Stonehill College student-athletes have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for their performances in the classroom during the spring semester.

(July 23, 2012) - During its 2011-12 season, the Stonehill College men's ice hockey team "drafted" Berkley fourth grader Jake Quinn through Team IMPACT (Inspire, Motivate, Play Against Challenges, Together), a New England based non-profit that aims at improving the quality of life for kids facing life-threatening illnesses by creating unparalleled team based support systems. Since then, Jake has been handing out just as much support to the Skyhawks as he has been given.

  • Stonehill Wins Third-Straight NE-10 Presidents’ Cup

    EASTON, Mass. (June 6, 2012) – Stonehill College has won the 2011-2012 Northeast-10 Conference Presidents’ Cup, it was announced at the Conference’s end of the year awards banquet in Portsmouth, N.H., last night. It marks the third-straight year the College has won the Presidents’ Cup and fourth overall, having also won the award in 2005-06, 2009-10 and 2010-11, and is the eighth-straight year it has finished in the top three in the final standings. (May 7, 2012) – Stonehill College, winner of the last two Northeast-10 Conference Presidents’ Cups for overall athletic achievement in Conference sports, is one of 24 NCAA Division II institutions to be recognized as recipients of the first Division II Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence, honoring athletics programs with four year Academic Success Rates of 90-percent or more.

    HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (March 19, 2012) – Stonehill College senior guard Sean Lowry (Butler, Pa./Butler) has been named the recipient of the Elite 89™ Award for the 2012 NCAA Division II men’s basketball championship. Lowry was presented the award during the pre-tournament banquet for the Elite Eight held at Drees Pavilion tonight. The 13 Skyhawks, seven of which are first time selections, were among 92 NE-10 student-athletes recognized from the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, football and volleyball.
