High School: 2009 high honors graduate of North Reading High School. Four-year letterwinner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track, serving as captain of all three teams as a senior. Indoor track team MVP as a senior. Part of 2007 Division 4 State Championship squad for indoor track. National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born July 17, 1991, Boston, Mass. Daughter of David and Lori McBride of North Reading, Mass. Majoring in biology. Her father, David, ran cross country and track at Tufts. Minors in journalism. Intern at The Sun Chronicle.
