Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball Weekly Honors: Week 11

EASTON, Mass. (November 6, 2018) – Stonehill College volleyball's junior Rachel Dunlavy was named Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week for the first honor in her career, as announced by the league on Tuesday. 

Dunlavy was selected by the league after averaging 6.25 digs per set in a 1-1 week for the Skyhawks, including a 3-1 victory over Pace University. With the final two matches of the season, Dunlavy posted her fourth-straight match with 20-plus digs, including a career high 29 digs in the final match against the Setters. The Brighton, Michigan native also chipped in two aces and three assists in the two matches.

The junior finished the season ranked in fifth in digs (4.25), 14th in aces per set (0.39), and 23rd in total aces (30). She wrapped up the season leading the team in digs per set and total digs (327). She also posted career numbers in every category this season as she appeared in all 22 matches.

The 2016 graduate of Father Gabriel Richard High School was a four year letter winner in volleyball. She was named to JV All-Catholic her freshman year, CHSL honorable mention her sophomore year, and CHSL All-League her junior year. Dunlavy was also tabbed on CHSL All-Academic, All-League, and All-State teams her senior year. She was named Athlete of the Year for Father Gabriel Richard High School.

Stonehill just missed out on a chance to be in the NE10 Tournament as they finished the season with a .500 record, a mark of 11-11 overall and 7-7 in the Conference.
