As game two went back and forth once again, Adelphi was only able to come within two, 22-24, before Pennino finished the frame with her fourth kill of the night, 25-22.

The two teams fought tirelessly in the third set as seven ties and five lead changes were the game decider. Adelphi held its last lead of the match with a three-point advantage, 18-15, before Stonehill stepped up the effort tallying six-straight points for their own three-point lead, 21-18. With the drive, the Skyhawks and Panthers each scored four points, but Stonehill took match point with two kills by DeLanty and a block by Hughes and DeLanty to secure the win, 25-22.
