Stevens earns first Conference accolade of the season

EASTON, Mass. (October 4, 2016) – Stonehill College women's volleyball senior Taylor Stevens (Foster, R.I./Ponaganset) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference's Setter of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Stevens assisted the Skyhawks to a 2-0 week with 3-0 victories over Southern New Hampshire University and Saint Michael's. The senior averaged 13.83 assist per set, while adding 2.83 digs per set and two service aces.

Stevens now sits third in the conference averaging 10.12 assists per set and sixth in aces per set (0.42).

Stonehill (7-5, 2-1 NE-10) will play three matches away from Merkert Gymnasium, with its first tonight, Tuesday, October 4 against Bentley University with the first serve at 7 p.m.
