EASTON, Mass. (August 19, 2014)- After a one-year absence, the Stonehill College VolleyBlog is back.

Every week, a different member of the Stonehill Volleyball team will be contributing a blog post about the 2014 season. Follow all the action this season here.

Rachel Peterson, a senior outside hitter and psychology major, provided the first post of the season, which can be seen below.

Blog 1: Preseason Report (August 19, 2014)

Stonehill is slated to open its 2014 campaign on Friday, September 5th with a pair of matches at the Millersville Marauder Clash, hosted by Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania. The Skyhawks will face Chestnut Hill (Pa.) College at 5 p.m., before taking on Holy Family (Pa.) University at 7 p.m.

Stonehill finished the 2013 season at 18-14, including 9-5 in conference play. The Skyhawks made their fourth consecutive trip to the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, advancing to the semifinal round of the tournament for the third time in head coach Lauren Amundson's five-year tenure.
