EASTON, Mass. (November 12, 2011) – Stonehill College women's volleyball junior libero Erin Kelly (Tinley Park, Ill./Marist) has been selected to the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Tournament All-Championship Team. The announcement was made tonight at the conclusion of the NE-10 Women's Volleyball Championship in Easton, Mass. at Merkert Gymnasium.

In two matches in the NE-10 Tournament, Kelly recorded 37 digs (5.29 per set), six assists and four service aces to help the Skyhawks advance to the semifinal round for the sixth time in program history.

Stonehill fell to eventual NE-10 Tournament champion Adelphi University, 3-0, in the semifinal round. Earlier tonight, the Panthers defeated the College of Saint Rose, 3-0, to earn their first NE-10 championship in program history.

Kelly, who has played in every set for the Skyhawks this season, ranks third overall in the NE-10 in total digs (473) and eighth in digs per set (3.88). The junior libero also ranks 16th overall in all of NCAA Division II women's volleyball in aces per set (0.59).

Kelly also gained recognition on the NE-10's All-Conference Team this season earning second team honors for the first time in her career.

Stonehill (27-6, 14-1 NE-10), which saw its bid to set a new single-season record for wins stalled by Adelphi University on Friday, awaits word on an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Championships to be announced on Sunday at 10 p.m. The selection show will air live via www.ncaa.com, with links also available via www.stonehillskyhawks.com.
