Krista Stracqualursi Named NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Stonehill track and field freshman Krista Stracqualursi was named NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week after posting a New England qualifying mark in the discus throw for her first time - bypassing a New England standard. She tossed the discus a mark of 128 feet on her fourth try as Stonehill was the only Division II institution among Division I institutions. The freshman also posted an eighth place finish in the shot put measuring a toss of 37 feet, 10 inches.
