EASTON, Mass. (May 16, 2018) – Stonehill College senior Alison Tobin (Hudson, Massachusetts/Hudson) of the women's track and field team, has been officially accepted to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Irwin Belk Complex from May 24-26.

Tobin qualified for her second NCAA Championship this outdoor season in pole vault, as she also bypassed the NCAA provisional mark during indoor season. Throughout the entire outdoor season, Tobin continued to best her mark in the pole vault and currently holds the Skyhawk school record in both indoor and outdoor.

The Hudson, Massachusetts native originally bypassed the NCAA provisional mark in April as she cleared a height of 12 feet, 1.5 inches at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College. This mark was also her first individual title of the outdoor season.

With a clearance of 12 feet, 9 inches at the NE10 Outdoor Championships two weekends ago, Tobin solidified her spot on the NCAA performance list putting her 12th among the field of 24 competitors, where 45 student-athletes actually qualified with their marks.

Tickets can be purchased at NCAA.com/tickets and the events will be streamed live on NCAA.com each day.
