EASTON, Mass. (February 7, 2018) – Stonehill College's women's track and field distance medley relay team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Relay Team of the Week this week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The 4000-meter distance medley relay team consisting of Elizabeth Hannon (Franklin, Massachusetts/Bishop Feehan), Krista Fernandes (Taunton, Massachusetts/Coyle and Cassidy), Jillian Caiazzi (Marlborough, Massachusetts/Marlborough), and Anna Lastra (Bridgton, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) finished second behind Boston College with a time of 11:56.76 at the New England Championships this past weekend earning All-New England. Hannon kicked off the relay with an unofficial 3:37.8 1200-meter split, while Fernandes ran an unofficial 57.9 400-meter sprint, which was one second difference from the NCAA provisional mark for the 400. Caiazzi followed taking the 800-meter third leg with a time of 2:16.2, and passed off the baton to Lastra for the anchor leg finishing with the mile leg with a time of 5:04.8.
