NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships Schedule & Accepted Athletes List

EASTON, Mass. (May 17, 2017) – Women's track and field senior Nicole Borofski (Plymouth, Massachusetts/Plymouth North) has been officially accepted to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by co-hosts the University of Tampa & IMG Academy, May 25-27, in Bradenton, Florida.

Borofski, who will be making her third-straight trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, will compete individually in the 3000-meter steeplechase. It will be Borofski's 10th appearance for her career overall, having competed in four cross country nationals, three indoor track and field championships to go with her now three outdoor nationals. She will compete in the 3000-meter steeplechase for the third time in her career and is seeded eighth over the field of 21 competitors.

The NCAA Track and Field Championship schedule will run from Thursday, May 25 to Saturday, May 27. Borofski will run the prelims for the steeplechase on Thursday, May 25 at 7:25 p.m. The finals are scheduled for the following day, Friday, May 26 at 7:15 p.m.

All session passes for the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships are $30 for an adult ticket and $20 for students and seniors. Single session passes are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased online at www.NCAA.com/tickets. The Stonehill women's track and field program captured its third Northeast-10 Outdoor Championship in program history and then followed that up with a 13th-place finish at the New England Championships. The women's Cross country and track & field programs have now won six-straight NE10 Championships, including cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field, and 11 of the last 12 NE10 Championships dating back to 2013.
