EASTON, Mass. (April 18, 2017) – Nicole Borofski (Plymouth, Mass./Plymouth North), of the Stonehill women's track and field team, was named Northeast-10 Conference Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league Tuesday.

The senior bypassed two NCAA provisional marks this past weekend at the Minuteman Invitational, hosted by UMass Amherst. Borofski ran in the 1500-meter run, where she took second with a time of 4:30.73. The time puts her 22nd on the NCAA Division II Outdoor Qualifying list.

Borofski competed in the 800-meter race and finished third with a personal best time of 2:13.16. With the time, she is ranked 47th in the event on the NCAA Division II Outdoor Qualifying list.

The Plymouth, Massachusetts native has competed in three NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships and two outdoor championships in her four-year career. She has also won five NEICAAA Track and Field Championships titles in eight events competed in her career. In her 11 events competed in the NE10 Track and Field Championships, she has won 10 titles.

Borofski will travel to Princeton, New Jersey on Friday, April 21 to compete in the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton University.
