Borofski & McAdams Selected to Compete in NCAA Championships

Borofski set to compete in 3000-meter steeplechase, McAdams in 1500-meter run

EASTON, Mass. (May 18, 2016) –
 Two members of the Stonehill College women's track & field program are set to compete at the 2016 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by The University of Tampa and IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Florida at IMG Academy May 26-28.

Junior All-American's Nicole Borofski (Plymouth, Massachusetts/Plymouth North) and Aisha McAdams (North Kingston, Rhode Island/North Kingston) will represent Stonehill at IMG Academy, competing against the nation's top runners. Borofski has qualified for the 3000-meter steeplechase and is seeded fifth with a time of 10:21.40, while McAdams will compete in the 1500-meter run and is seeded 15th with a time of 4:29.34. Borofski will be competing at the NCAA Outdoor Championship for the second straight year, marking her fourth-straight Track & Field Championship overall to go with three cross country national championships appearances, while McAdams makes her first trip to the Outdoor Championships after competing at three cross country national championships and two NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
