Finley-Moise Named NE-10 Track Rookie Of The Week

Lexington, Mass. native posted a pair of top-eight finishes last Saturday at the Holy Cross Invitational

EASTON, Mass. (April 24, 2015) – Stonehill College sophomore sprinter Tulie Finley-Moise (Lexington, Massachusetts/Lexington) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Track Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Finley-Moise and the Skyhawks competed at the Holy Cross Invitational last Saturday, finishing fourth in the seven-team Division I field with 84 total points.

The Lexington, Massachusetts native contributed three points towards Stonehill's team score with a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter dash and an eighth-place effort in the 100-meter dash. Finley-Moise, who was among seven Skyhawks competing in the 200 and five in the 100, turned in times of 26.97 seconds and 12.75 seconds, respectively.

Finley-Moise becomes the second member of Stonehill's women's track & field team to be recognized with NE-10 Rookie of the Week accolades during the outdoor season, joining freshman Paige Campbell (Lexington, Massachusetts/Lexington), who was honored on April 8th.

A 2013 graduate of Lexington High School, Finley-Moise spent her freshman year at the University of Hartford, where she was a member of the women's track & field program.

Stonehill, which is ranked third in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Region Computer Rankings, returns to action this afternoon when it hosts the 8th annual Skyhawk Invitational at W.B. Mason Stadium.
