Indoor Season

2012-13: USTFCCCA East Region Team (3000-Meters, 5000-Meters). Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters. Competed in four races for Stonehill during the 2012-13 indoor season. Posted a tenth place finish (10:23.08) in the 3000-meter race at the Joe Donahue Games (1/25/13). Notched a 5:22.97 time in the mile at the URI Coaches Tribute Meet (2/2/13). Placed second in the 5000-meter race in a time of 17:57.07 at the NE-10 Championships (2/16/13). Registered a season-best time of 17:47.67 in the 5000-meter race at the New England Indoor Championships (2/22/13). McBride Named to USTFCCCA All-East Region Team.

2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. All-Northeast-10 (3000m). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). USTFCCCA East Region (5000 Meters).  Competed in five individual races on the season. Finished second overall in the 3,000 meter run at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) earning All-NE-10 recognition in the event with a time of 10:30.40. Placed 11th overall out of 28 competitors in the 5,000 meter run at the New England Championships (2/24/12) in 17:53.00. Ranked 28th overall out of 52 competitors in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:54.25 at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/11/12). Posted a time of 10:42.21 at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) placing 15th overall (23 competitors). Finished seventh overall out of 17 competitors at the UNH Tri-Meet in a lap-shortened 3,000 meter run (2,840m) with a time of 10:12.96.

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region (5,000m). Finished second overall at the NE-10 championships in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:39.86. Placed 21st overall in the 5,000 meter run at the New England championships in a time of 18:28.26, a personal best time indoors. Also competed in the 5,000 meter run at the Tufts Stampede (18:42.61). Posted a time of 10:56.33 in the 3,000 meter run at the Boston University Valentine Classic. Ran a time of 5:32.48 in the one mile run at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games.

2009-10: Placed eighth in the 5000m event (19:13.78) at the Wheaton College Invitational. Finished sixth in the 3000m (11:00.86) at the Tufts Stampede. Placed fourth in the 5000m at the NE-10 Championships in 18:50.85. Placed 17th overall in the 5000m at the New England Championships with a time of 18:33.69.

Outdoor Season

2013: All-New England (10000-meter). Participated in the 5000-meter race three times. Finished third at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with a time of 19:28.33. Netted sixth place at Holy Cross Invitational (4/20), running in 18:04.23. Placed fourth at Northeast-10 Championships (5/4) by running 18:27.13. Saw action in two 10000-meter races, running sixth (37:16.70, a school record) at Duke Invitational (4/6), and third (38:10.31) at New England Championship (5/11), good for an All-New England honor. Ran 4:58.88 (16th) at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26).

2012: All-New England (10000-meter). Northeast-10 Conference Champion (10000m). Competed in one 3000-meter and one 5000m race for the Skyhawks. Finished 26^th at George Davis Invitational (4/7) with a time of 10:53.45 in the 3000m, a personal best. Finished the 5000m race in 17:48.24 at Larry Ellis Invitational (4/20). Had great success in the 10000m run on the season, participating in three races. Claimed second at Skyhawk Invitational (4/14) with a time of 37:40.01. Was the winner of the event at the Northeast-10 Championships (5/5), finishing first in the conference at 38:29.88. Took home second place at New England Championships (5/12), good for an All-New England honor, finishing in 37:31.77.

2011: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region (5,000m and 10,000m). Placed first overall at the NE-10 championships in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 39:35.72. Posted a season best time of 39:14.66 in the 10,000 meter run at the Bryant University Invitational. Finished 22nd overall at the New England championships in the 5,000 meter run in 18:34.46. Ran to a personal best time of 18:06.73 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Also competed in the 5,000 meter run at the Bridgewater State University Invitational finishing in seventh place with a time of 19:49.43. Finished 20th overall at the George Davis Invitational in the 3,000 meter run in 10:54.77. Competed in the 1,500 meter run at the Skyhawk Invitational (21st overall, 5:09.23).

High School: 2009 graduate of Seekonk High School. Lettered in cross country and track for coaches Eli Mello and Frank Mooney. Holds the school record in the 600m with a time of 1:25.95. Earned Sun Chronicle All-Star honors.

Personal: Born September 25, 1990, Providence, R.I. Son of David and Elizabeth Spencer of Seekonk, Mass. Has three sisters. Also a member of the cross country team. Majoring in American History with a minor in journalism. Phi Alpha Eta Honor Society. Interned at The Sun Chronicle during the summer of 2012.
