Indoor Season

2011-12: Distance Medley Relay NE-10 Champion. All-Northeast-10 (distance medley relay). Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Competed in five individual races and four relays on the season. A member of Stonehill's distance medley relay team at the conference championship setting a new meet record along with teammates Maura Ferrarini, Melissa Ulcena and Brianna Venturo in a total time of 12:32.73. Ran a time of 5:19 in the 1,600-meter anchor leg. Ran the second leg (2:23 split) of Stonehill's school record breaking 4x800 meter relay team at the New England Championships (2/25/12). Broke the school record with teammates Christen Carrier, Melissa Ulcena and Erin Rielly in a total time of 9:27.42. Posted a time of 2:30.40 in the 800 meter run at the UNH Tri-Meet (1/21/12). Recorded a time of 5:18.41 in the one mile run at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12). Finished 12th overall out of 31 competitors in the one mile run at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) in 5:17.21. Posted a time of 5:11.63 in the one mile run at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/11/12). Finished fifth overall in the one mile run at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) with a time of 5:12.54. Competed on Stonehill's distance medley relay team at the New England Championships (2/24/12) with teammates Lauren Hanlon, Elizabeth LaRegina and Brianna Venturo placing ninth overall out of 19 teams with a time of 12:14.69. Was a member of Stonehill's 4x800 meter relay "A Team" along with teammates Jill Alves, Chelsea Bishop and Maura Ferrarini in a total time of 10:04.20 at the UNH Tri-Meet.

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region (One Mile, DMR). All-New England (DMR). Established a new school record in the distance medley relay with Maura Ferrarini, Susan O'Connell and Lindsey Booth at the New England championships with a time of 12:17.17. Ran a split of 3:45 in the 1,200-meter leg. Earned All-East Region honors with her 21st place finish overall at the New England championships with a time of 5:11.40. Also competed in the one mile run at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (5:13.63), the Boston University Valentine Classic (5:20.09) and the NE-10 championships (sixth overall, 5:15.44). Posted a time of 19:02.01 in the 5,000 meters at the Jay Carisella Invitational. Ran a time of 3:11.79 in the 1,000 meter run at the Tufts Stampede. Helped Stonehill to a second place finish in the distance medley relay at the NE-10 championships (12:47.47).

2009-10: Placed eighth in the mile at the Harvard Open with a time of 5:23.04. Finished sixth in the 5000m (19:12.19) at the Wheaton College Invitational. Placed ninth in the 1000m (3:10.50) at the Tufts Stampede. Was the top Division II finisher in the mile at the BU Valentine's Classic, running a time of 5:16.96.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: USTFCCCA All-East Region (3,000m steeplechase). Finished first overall in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the NE-10 championships with a time of 11:37.45. Posted a season best time of 11:34.24 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the George Davis Invitational, a seventh place finish overall. Also ran a time of 11:36.75 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Larry Ellis Invitiatonal. Finished 24th overall in the 5,000 meter run at the New England championships in a time of 18:39.36. Posted a personal best time of 18:21.93, fifth place overall, in the 5,000 meter run at the Bryant Invitational. Also competed in the 5,000 meter run at the Bridgewater State University Invitational (20:07.45). Competed in the 1,500 meter three times during the season highlighted by a personal best time of 4:52.41 at the Skyhawk Invitational. Also competed in the 4x800 meter relay at the Skyhawk Invitational running a split of 2:26.8.

High School: 2009 honors graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School. Four-year letterwinner in track, serving as team captain senior year. Four-time Western Mass Champion. All-Western Mass and All-State selection. National qualifier in indoor and outdoor track. Senior year captain in outdoor track and swimming. National Honor Society Vice President.

Born February 21, 1991, in Springfield, Mass. Daughter of Steven and Elizabeth Veit of Easthampton, Mass. Has two sisters, Kaitlyn (18) and Lauren (22). Also a member of the cross country team.
