Indoor Season

2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. All-Northeast-10 (4x400m). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). Competed in 12 individual races and six relays on the season. Helped Stonehill's 4x400 meter relay team establish a new school record along with teammates Maria Curit, Lauren Hanlon and Christen Carrier finishing second overall at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) in a total time of 4:01.91. Ran a split of 61.8 as the third leg in the event. Posted a time of 9.25 seconds in the 55 meter hurdle prelims at the Jay Carisella Invitational (12/3/11). Also ran on Stonehill's third place 4x400 meter relay team (4:08.16). Advanced to the 55 meter hurdle finals at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11) with a preliminary time of 9.01 seconds. Finished fourth overall in the finals with a time of 8.94 seconds. Also competed in the 200 meter run placing 5th overall with a time of 27.60 seconds. Ranked third overall in the 55 meter hurdles at the UNH Tri-Meet running a time of 8.64 seconds in the finals. Posted a preliminary time of 8.77 seconds. Finished 17th overall out of 56 competitors in the 55 meter dash at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) in 7.62 seconds. Also ran in the 55 meter hurdles posting a preliminary time of 8.63 seconds and a finals time of 8.68 seconds (eighth overall). Ran a time of 9.63 seconds in the prelims at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12). Finished sixth overall at the NE-10 Championsips (2/18/12) in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.64 seconds in the finals. Ran a time of 8.68 seconds in the prelims. Had a time of 9.33 in the prelims of the 60 meter hurdles at the New England Championships (1/24/12). Helped Stonehill to a second place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at the UNH Tri-Meet (4:07.44). Finished third overall at the Reggie Poyau Invitational in the 4x400 meter relay (4:11.80). Ranked eightht overall in the 4x400 meter relay at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (4:12.54). Placed sixth overall in the 4x400 meter relay at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (4:03.61).

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Set the school record in the 60 meter hurdles at the New England championships with a time of 9.35 seconds in the prelims. Ran to a 13th place finish in the finals of the New England championships. Finished second overall at the Tufts Stampede with a time of 9.56 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles. Ran a time of 9.42 seconds in the prelims at the Tufts Stampede. Posted a time of 9.71 seconds in the prelims at the Boston University Valentine Classic. Finished second overall at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.58 seconds. Finished sixth overall in the 55 meter hurdles at the NE-10 championships in 8.66 seconds. Ran the 200 meter dash twice during the season at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (27.07, personal best) and the Tufts Stampede (tenth overall, 27.57). Competed in the 4x400 meter relay twice including a fifth place finish at the NE-10 championships.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Finished fourth overall at the NE-10 championships in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.94, a personal best. Placed 26th overall at the New England championships with a time of 1:08.96. Finished second overall at the Bridgewater State University Invitational with a time of 1:09.17 and third at the Skyhawk Invitational in 1:08.52. Helped Stonehill to fourth place finishes in the 4x100 meter relay (50.89) and 4x400 meter relay (4:08.63) at the NE-10 championships. Placed fourth overall in the 100 meter hurdles at the BSU Invitational (16.85) and 19th overall at the Bryant University Invitational (17.15). Also competed in the 400 hurdles at the George Davis Invitational (seventh overall, 1:07.61), the UMass Minutemen Invitational (sixth overall, 1:08.85) and the Larry Ellis Invitational (1:08.51).

High School: 2010 honors graduate of Essex High School. Three-year letterwinner in indoor track, serving as captain her senior year. Holds the school record in the 55m hurdles, and was state champion in the 55m hurdles her junior and senior year. Team champions for three consecutive years (2008-2010). Four-year letterwinner in outdoor track, serving as captain her senior year. Was 100m, 100m hurdles, and 300m hurdles state champion her senior year, and is the state record-holder in the 300m hurdles. Also a three-year letterwinner in soccer, serving as captain her senior year. Team won the state championship in 2007. National Honor Society member. 

Personal: Born June 20, 1992 in Burlington, Vt. Daughter of Carol and Chris Polakowski of Essex Junction, Vt. Has a brother, Jason (21), who runs track at Southern Connecticut State University. Majoring in biochemistry. Career goals include a 1:00, 400m hurdle time and a sub-14.4, 100m hurdle time.
