2011-12: Competed in two field events on the season. Posted a distance of 30-feet and 10.50-inches in the weight throw at the Jay Carisella Invitational (12/3/11). Finished eighth overall at the Reggie Poyau Invitational in the weight throw with a mark of 30-feet and 2.75-inches.

High School: 2011 graduate of Maine Central Institute. Four-year letterwinner in field hockey, basketball and outdoor track. Earned Most Valuable Player honors for field hockey to go along with the Coach's Award, All-Conference and All-State selections. Captained the field hockey team and garnered All-Academic accolades. Two-year captain for the basketball team earning All-Academic and All-Rookie honors. Three-year captain for the outdoor track and field team. Earned All-Academic and All-Conference selections for three years. A two-time All-State selection. Won the Most Valuable Player award three times. School discuss and shot put record holder.

Personal: Born on January 25, 1993 in Waterville, Maine. Daughter of Nancy and Greg Hughes of Pittsfield, Maine. Has two sisters, Katie (15) and Allison (11). Her mother, Nancy, played field hockey at Bowdoin College from 1987-1991. Lists career goals as wanting to be a counselor, a field hockey and/or track coach. Lists favorite team as the Boston Celtics and favorite athlete as Ray Allen.
