Indoor Season

2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. Distance Medley Relay NE-10 Champion. All-Northeast-10 (one mile & distance medley relay). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). USTFCCCA East Region (Mile, Distance Medley Relay). Capital One Academic All-District I selection (Cross Country and Track & Field). Competed in five individual races and four relays on the season. Helped Stonehill's distance medley relay team establish a new school record in the event in a total time of 12:03.47 and provisionally qualified for the NCAA's in the one mile run. Anchored the Skyhawks school record distance medley relay team with a 5:06 split in the 1,600-meter leg at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/11/12). Finished 13th overall at the New England Championships in the one mile run with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:59.12. Placed second overall in the one mile run at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) with a time of 5:04.60. Also competed in Stonehill's distance medley relay team at the conference championship setting a new meet record along with teammates Melissa Ulcena, Brianna Venturo and Kristen Veit in a total time of 12:32.73. Ran the 1,200-meter lead leg in 3:45. Posted a time of 5:08.61 in the one mile run for a sixth place showing at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12). Also ran in the distance medley relay with Jill Alves, Maria Curit and Christen Carrier for a total time of 12:31.40. Competed in the 1,000 meter run at the UNH Tri-Meet (1/21/12) posting a time of 3:05.27 for third place overall. Also ran on Stonehill's 4x800 meter relay "A Team" with Jill Alves, Chelsea Bishop and Kristen Veit in a total time of 10:04.20. Ran a time of 10:24.73 in the 3,000 meter run at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) finishing seventh overall out of 24 competitors. Ferrarini Earns USTFCCCA All-East Region Honors.

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Capital One Academic All-District I selection (Cross Country and Track & Field). USTFCCCA All-East Region. All-New England (DMR). Placed third at the NE-10 championships in the one mile run with a time of 5:11.73, a personal best. Also helped Stonehill to a second place finish overall in the distance medley relay at the NE-10 championships (12:47.47), a school record. Finished seventh at the New England championships in the distance medley relay running a 1,600 meter split in 5:10.1. Placed first overall in the one mile run at the Tufts Stampede in 5:16.39. Ran a time of 5:27.95 in the one mile at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet. Also competed in the 3,000 meter run twice during the season and 4x800 meter relay twice.
NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll (2/8, 3/1)

2009-10: Placed 14th in the 3000m run at the Jay Carisella Invitational with a time of 11:19.77. Finished 10th in the mile in 5:41.36 at the Wheaton College Invitational.

2008-09: Placed 11th in the 3000m event in 11:49.39 at the NE-10 indoor championships.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region. Finished 13th overall and first among all Division II competitors at the New England championships in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:22.11, eight seconds better than her qualifying time at the George Davis Invitational (sixth overall, 11:30.91). Placed second overall in the 1,500 meter run in a time of 4:48.10, a personal best. Also competed in the 1,500 meter run at the Bridgewater State University Invitational (third overall, 4:57.93), the Bryant Invitational (11th overall, 4:52.59), the UMass Minutemen Invitational (eighth overall, 4:54.50) and the Larry Ellis Invitational (4:49.43). Ran to a third place finish in the 5,000 meter run at the Skyhawk Invitational in 18:29.56. Helped Stonehill to a first place finish in the 4x800 meter relay (9:45.04) at the NE-10 championships with a split of 2:23.9.

High School: 2008 graduate of Cathedral High School. Four-year letterwinner for coach Kathleen Schnaittacher, serving as captain senior year. Four-time All-Scholastic selection. Three-year letterwinner in indoor track and four-year letterwinner in outdoor track, serving as captain for both teams senior year. Three-time Western Mass. indoor mile champion. Western Mass. outdoor mile champion as a junior. 

Personal: Born June 28, 1990, Springfield, Mass. Daughter of John and Patty Ferrarini of Springfield, Mass. Has two older siblings, Caitlin (25) and Sean (23). Majoring in chemistry. One of 49 Stonehill students accepted into the college's SURE (Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience) program this summer, where she will be working onThe Neural Arousal System, a project focused on the neuroanatomical circuits involved in switching between sleep and wakefulness. Also a member of the cross country team.
