Women’s Tennis Signs Porter to NLI During Early Signing Period

William T. Dwyer product from Jupiter, Florida, will join Skyhawks as member of Class of 2021

EASTON, Mass. (December 16, 2016) – Stonehill College women's tennis head coach Marc Maloney has announced that Isabelle Porter, a native of Jupiter, Florida, and a product of William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has signed a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period and will attend the College as a member of the Class of 2021.

Porter is ranked as a "3-Star" player on tennisrecruiting.net out of William T. Dwyer High School, who is ranked No. 299 nationally. She is the daughter of Vikki and Brandon Porter of Jupiter, Florida, and chose Stonehill "Because I love the team atmosphere and the sense of unity. I liked having strong academics at a smaller school, and fell in love with Boston."

Stonehill, ranked No. 5 in the most recent Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II East Regional rankings, finished the fall season with a 12-3 record overall, including an 11-1 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference to win its seventh NE10 regular season championship on its way to a third straight appearance in the NE10 Championship match. The Skyhawks will announce their spring schedule in the coming weeks.
