Finished 15-6 overall in No. 3 singles competition, including a 14-5 regular-season mark and a 10-2 record in the NE-10.

Appeared in 13 singles matches for Stonehill, going 12-1. Finished a perfect 7-0 in conference play. Won the game-clinching match in the Skyhawks' 5-4 win over Queens in the East Regional Final.

2008 graduate of Wethersfield High School. Four-year letterwinner in tennis, serving as team captain her senior year. Four-time All-CCC West and All-Herald selection. Harford Courant All-State and All-Academic selection. Also a letterwinner in soccer. 

Personal:
Born May 7, 1990, Wethersfield, Conn. Daughter of David and Debra Simmons of Wethersfield, Conn. Has a brother, D.J. (22). Greatest sports moment was beating Queens College to go to the Sweet 16 Finals in Orlando, Florida. Supports the University of Connecticut Huskies basketball team. Favorite athlete is Andy Roddick.
