Amy Wheaton is entering her second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Stonehill College women's soccer team.

Wheaton joins head coach Alex Wilson's staff as a goalkeeper coach following a decorated four-year career at Stonehill, where she was a three-year starter, earning numerous accolades including Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention and Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Goalkeeper of the Year in 2012. Wheaton started 57 matches for the Skyhawks, including all 35 contests during her junior and senior seasons. The Dartmouth, Mass. native posted a 0.97 career goals against average in over 5651 minutes of action, recording 17 shutouts in the process.

Wheaton also excelled in the classroom during her time at Stonehill, earning NE-10 Academic All-Conference honors as both a junior and senior in addition to being named to the Scholar All-East Region Third Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) her senior year.

A 2014 graduate of Stonehill, Wheaton earned her Bachelor's Degree in biology.
