Alana Figurido is entering her first season as volunteer assistant coach with the Stonehill College women’s soccer program.

Figurido was a three-year starter for Northeast-10 rival Franklin Pierce before missing her entire senior season due to injury. As a member of the Ravens defense, Figurido started 57 games over the course of her career, helping Franklin Pierce to 26 shutouts. The Ravens made it to two NCAA Tournaments with Figurido as a key member of their defense, including a run to the East Regional Finals in 2009.

While at Franklin Pierce, Figurido served as a student athletic trainer, monitoring athletic practices and educating student-athletes on correct training protocols. Her other experiences include coaching for Aztec Soccer Club from 2007-2009.

Before college, Figurido was a four-year starter and two-time All-Star at Hamilton-Wenham High School. She also played for the Aztec Soccer Club for six years, winning a Massachusetts State Cup Title in 2008.

Figurido, a native of Hamilton, Mass., graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2013 with a degree in biology.
