EASTON, Massachusetts (October 28, 2019) – The Stonehill College women's soccer team, who is ranked No. 18 in the United Soccer Coaches' National poll and No. 2 in the Regional poll saw junior Kayla Henry earn her second Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week honor, as announced by the league on Monday.

Henry led the Skyhawks to a 1-0-1 week including a 6-3 victory over Assumption College and a 1-1 double overtime draw against Adelphi University. The junior posted seven points across the two games, where she notched three goals and one assist.

In the Skyhawks dominate 6-3 win, the Belchertown, Massachusetts native recorded her first-collegiate hat trick. Stonehill came out strong and in a span of six minutes, the Skyhawks scored four goal, two from Henry, while she put in her final one in the 62nd minute of the game. The goals bring her season total to eight and career to 17 tallies.

On Saturday, Stonehill hosted Adelphi on Skyhawk Field and following 110 minutes of play, the two teams ended in a draw, the Skyhawks' second of the season. This is the third-straight year that the two teams have played in an overtime match together with the record now standing 1-1-1 in the three years. Following a very defensive first half, the Panthers found the back of the net in the 55th minute, and Stonehill responded in the 67th minute as Nicole Geraghty evened the score at one, 1-1, as Henry collected her fifth assist of the year and 12th of her career.

In late September, Henry was tabbed NE10 Player of the Week for the first time as she scored two goals and registered two assists in a 2-0 week for the Skyhawks including a 4-1 win over No. 18 Franklin Pierce University and a 3-1 win over Le Moyne College.

Stonehill (10-3-2, 7-1-2 NE10) travels to Pleasantville, New York for a NE10 battle as they battle Pace University on Wednesday, October 30 with a start time of 7:00 p.m. at Pace Stadium. Following this match, they host Saint Anselm College and Southern Connecticut State University for their final regular season games of the season.
