EASTON, Massachusetts (October 14, 2019) – The Stonehill College women's soccer team, ranked No. 19 in the United Soccer Coaches' National poll and No. 2 in the East Regional poll saw as senior Isabella Collentro earn her first Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor, as announced by the league on Monday.

In a 2-0 week, the Skyhawks saw their third shutout of the season with a 2-0 victory over NE10 Conference foe Bentley University, and their first out-of-region win over Lynn University, 3-1, on Friday in Boca Raton, Florida.

Collentro has been a key part of the Skyhawks' defense that has posted 0.89 goals against average in the 12 games this season. The senior center back recorded her first goal of the season assisting the team to a 2-0 win over the Falcons. This was just her third goal of her career, as she posted two during her sophomore year.

The Sandwich, Massachusetts native has played in 51 games with 41 starts as she has totaled eight points in her career.

Stonehill (9-2-1, 6-1-1 NE10) takes on Barry University (3-6-0) for its second out-of-region opponent of the season tonight at 6:00 p.m. in Miami Shores, Florida on Buccaneer Soccer Field. The Skyhawks then take a week off before returning to Conference play as they battle Assumption College on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in Worcester, Massachusetts.
