Reilly a consensus All-American for second time in her career
Green collects first All-America selection with IWLCA second team honors
EASTON, Mass. (May 15, 2013) – Two members of the Stonehill College women's lacrosse program have received All-America honors from either the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) or synapsesports.com.
Senior midfielder Kelsey Reilly (Hingham, Mass./Notre Dame Academy) is a consensus All-American for the second time in her career, earning first team All-America honors for the first time from the IWLCA and synapsesports.com, marking the third straight year she has collected All-America honors. Senior attack Kayla Green (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) earned All-America honors for the first time in her career with her selection to the IWLCA All-America second team. The IWLCA will honor its All-America selections at the IWLCA All-American banquet on May 25 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.

Reilly is a consensus first team All-American for the first time in her career after being a consensus second team pick as a sophomore in 2011. She also earned second team All-America status from synapsesports.com following her junior year as well and is a three-time IWLCA All-North Region first team and first team All-Northeast-10 Conference honoree over her career. The NE-10 Midfielder of the Year started all 20 games for Stonehill this season and finished third on the team in scoring with 59 points (10th NE-10) on 42 goals (16th) and 17 assists (16th). Her Conference-leading 119 draw controls (7th nationally) finished just one shy of her own school-record total of 120 set as a junior, marking the first two 100-plus draw seasons in program history. Reilly, named the 2013 Fr. William Gartland, CSC, Award winner at Stonehill as the top female senior student-athlete, also totaled 37 ground balls (16th NE-10) and a team-high 23 caused turnovers (7th NE-10) this spring.

Reilly is the latest of 14 players in program history to surpass 200 career points and the third this season. Reilly wrapped up her career over the weekend with 147 goals and 65 assists for 212 points to go with 313 draw controls, 187 ground balls and 110 caused turnovers in 74 career games played. In addition to the athletic awards, Reilly has been named to the NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Athletic Director's Honor Roll multiple semesters at the College.
Green, a two-time IWLCA All-North Region and All-Northeast-10 first team pick, earns her first All-America award after leading Stonehill with 64 goals (4th NE-10), including two gamewinners, and 25 assists (4th) for a team-best 89 points (2nd) to go with 18 ground balls, 13 draw controls and five caused turnovers. She is ranked tenth nationally in Division II for goals scored and 13th in scoring. Her 64 goals this season rank fifth on Stonehill's single-season list, while her 89 points are tied for sixth all-time.
Green has collected NE-10 Academic All-Conference accolades and received the Saint Thomas Aquinas Medal for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team twice over her career. She became the 12th player in program history to surpass 200 career points earlier this spring and has now totaled 179 goals and 61 assists for 240 points in 75 career games played. Green now ranks seventh in program history for career goals and points. She has also earned the Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award two straight years and has been named to both the NE-10 Commissioner's and Athletic Director's honor roll every semester.
Stonehill (13-7, 10-2 NE-10), ranked ninth in the final regular season IWLCA Division II poll, earned its seventh NCAA Tournament bid in program history this season and made its 15th-straight appearance in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Championship.
