Easton, Mass. - Two days after claiming the
top-spot in the Northeast-10 Conference, the Stonehill College
Women's Lacrosse team (7-1, 5-0 Northeast-10 Conference) prepares
for their next big challenge, the Bryant University Bulldogs (7-3,
5-1 Northeast-10 Conference). The women are riding a four

University of New Haven Chargers on March 27th.
The Skyhawks are second in the NE-10 in goals per game (16.75) and

Purple and White has been the reliable play of their defense.

first in goals against average (6.51); nearly three scores ahead of
second-place Saint Michael's (9.57).
Stonehill's scoring threats come in the form of senior Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and junior Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham). The two have combined for 53 goals scored, 15 assists and 68 total points thus far. Sophomore Liza Gross (Loundonville, N.Y./Shaker) has come on as of late, her seven goals helped Stonehill to a 2-0 mark last week.
The Bryant Bulldogs will look to crack Stonehill's solid defense with Caitlyn Hansen and Allison Faiola. The two are tied for fifth in the NE-10 standings with 34 goals scored each. Faiola also stands eighth in assists per game (1.60) and fifth in total points per game (5.00).
