Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Jenny McGrath, Stonehill (Sr., A, Milton, MA) - Named Tournament MVP after posting four goals and four assists for eight points. Recorded a pair of markers and three assists in the championship game win over Merrimack, while collecting two goals and an assist in the semifinal win over Southern New Hampshire to set the school single season points mark.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Lauren Stone, Stonehill (Sr., G, Guilderland, NY) - Posted a pair of victories, a 6.50 GAA and a .618 saves percentage. Made 12 saves in the win over Southern New Hampshire and added nine stops in the championship game win over Merrimack.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Michelle Kelly, Stonehill (Fr., M, Mendham, NJ) - Netted six goals and three assists for nine points, including four goals and an assist in the title match win over Merrimack. Added a pair of goals and two assists in the win over Southern New Hampshire.

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

Erin Acone, Stonehill (Sr., M, Bow, NH) - Netted eight goals and two assists for 10 points, including six goals and an assist in the win over Southern New Hampshire to go with a pair of goals and an assist in the championship match win over Merrimack. Collected team-best seven draw controls during the tournament.

Kristin Darrell, Stonehill (So., M, West Islip, NY) - Netted six goals and three assists for nine points, including four goals and two assists in the win over Southern New Hampshire and two goals and an assist in the championship win over Merrimack.

Stonehill: Stonehill, ranked fifth in last week's IWLCA Division II national poll and in the Division II top 10 for the 55th straight week, captured its seventh straight Northeast-10 tournament championship in besting Merrimack in the title match for the second straight season and for the third time in the last six years. Senior A Jenny McGrath (Milton, Mass.) became the first player in the eight year history to the league championship to earn tournament MVP honors twice in capturing the honor this weekend, as she also set the Stonehill single-season scoring mark with 110 points this spring, breaking Katie Lambert's previous high water mark of 104 points set in 2002. Senior M Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.) finished her career ranked third on the NCAA Division II goals list (227) and sixth on the Division II points list (311) while joining Lambert as the only two players in league history to be named as the Northeast-10 Player of the Year for three straight seasons. Senior G Lauren Stone (Guilderland, N.Y.) was tabbed as the conference's Co-Goalkeeper of the Year in winning the accolade for the second time, as she finished her career with a school-record 47 victories in 53 decisions. Skyhawk Head Coach Michael Daly, now 122-25 (.830) in eight years at Stonehill, was tabbed as the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year for the fifth straight season and for the sixth time in eight years. The Stonehill senior class of Acone, McGrath, Stone and D Kate Sarkissian (Sandwich, Mass.) will graduate with a career mark of 68-8 (.894), four Northeast-10 regular season and tournament championships as well as two NCAA Division II national crowns…
