EASTON, Mass.-- Senior All-America Jenny McGrath (Milton, Mass.) notched her third 10-point game of the season with four goals and a career-high tying six assists as third-ranked Stonehill notched its 56th straight Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse victory with a 20-2 league triumph over Assumption Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

McGrath, who has recorded six assists in a match on four occasions this season, became the career assist leader for the host Skyhawks (12-1, 8-0 Northeast-10) in the process, as she passed former Stonehill standout Katie Lambert's total and has now amassed 112 career helpers.

Stonehill, winners of 39 of its last 40 contests since April 2004, improved to 69-1 all-time in Northeast-10 play since the league's inception in 1999 by netting the first 11 goals of the contest en route to a 13-1 lead at the break, as senior All-America Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.) added five goals on the day for the Skyhawks, who also received a hat trick and four assists off the stick of junior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.). Sophomore All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) each added hat tricks for the winners, who also received a pair of goals and an assist off the stick of sophomore Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y.).

Sophomore Katie Kistner (Needham, Mass.) netted a goal and an assist in the setback for the visiting Greyhounds (2-8, 2-6 Northeast-10), which also received a goal from senior Jenny Mongeau (Westboro, Mass.) and an assist off the stick of freshman Shannon Howard (Norfolk, Mass.).

Senior All-America Lauren Stone (Guilderland, N.Y.) picked up the win in goal for Stonehill with a seven-save effort, while freshman Nicole Johnson (Shrewsbury, Mass.) also made seven stops in net for Assumption as the Skyhawks outshot the Greyhounds by a 34-9 margin in picking up their 11th win in as many series meetings between the two schools.

Stonehill hosts Southern New Hampshire in a Northeast-10 outing on Thursday evening at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m., while Assumption hosts Bentley in a Northeast-10 match on Saturday afternoon in Worcester, Mass. that begins at Noon.
