STONEHILL: Stonehill, ranked fourth nationally in the IWLCA Division II poll for the second straight week, has netted 43 goals on 85 shots in its first two matches, including 21 markers on 32 shots in Saturday's win over Regis (Colo.). The Chieftains, winners of eight straight and 14 of their last 15 outings dating back to last March 30th, are 2-0 for the first time since the 2000 campaign. Acone joined Katie Lambert, Colby Confer and Melissa Gross in Stonehill's 100-career goal club with her five tallies against Regis (Colo.), and Confer's four-point effort has pulled her to within 17 points of joining Lambert in the 200-career point club. Stonehill will face its fourth Division I foe in the program's seven year history on Thursday when the Chieftains take on Central Connecticut. Stonehill previously faced Division I opponents Denver (2001), Saint Mary's (Calif.) (2003) and Longwood (2004)
