Stonehill shot 56-percent from the floor (14-for-25) in the second half, including 6-of-9 (66.7%) from three-point distance to break open a five point game (31-26) at the half. Roberts led by four (14-10) after a layup from Gkizani with two minutes remaining in the first quarter, but the Skyhawks scored the final five points of the frame to grab the lead (15-14) after a three-pointer by senior Grace Carter to close out the quarter.

Stonehill quickly stretched its lead to six (21-15) after three-pointers from Santoro and Donlan just over two minutes into the second. Roberts trimmed the deficit to two (21-19) a minute later, but the Skyhawks answered with a 10-2 spurt to open a ten point lead (31-21) after a jumper from senior Kelsey Shaw with two minutes to go in the half.

Stonehill settled for the five point halftime cushion, but scored nine of the first 11 points in the second half to claim a 12-point lead (40-28) following another Carter three two and a half minutes in. The Skyhawks lead would not dip inside double figures the rest of the way, growing to 19 (53-34) after two Santoro free throws with 3:20 to play in the third. Stonehill's lead would extend to 24 (69-45) after a Shaw three-pointer in the fourth before finishing at the final 19-point margin.
