Tonight's game with Bloomfield marks the Skyhawks final non-conference contest of the season as NE-10 play will dominate the schedule after the New Year starting Saturday at rival Bentley. Stonehill boasts the top offense in the NE-10 with 70.2 points per game, committing the fewest turnovers per game (14.3), ranking second for field goal percentage (.426), free-throw percentage (.763) and assists per game (15.6), third for fewest fouls committed per game (16.5) and sixth for three-point percentage (.325). The Skyhawks rank 14th in the Conference for scoring defense (64.2 ppg), fourth for blocked shots per game (3.4) and sixth for rebound margin (+4.2). Senior Paige Marshall and junior Kelly Martin have combined to average 30.4 points per game so far this season for Stonehill. Marshall leads the Skyhawks with 15.4 points per game on 53.8-percent shooting from the field, including 60.7% (17-for-28) from three-point range, while converting 75% (24-32) of her free-thows with 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, boasting one of the top assist/turnover ratios in the country at +2.8/gm. Martin adds 15 points on 42.3% shooting, converting 86.3% (44-51) of her free-throws with 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals per contest. Senior Chyna Golden recorded her first double-double as a Bear in the double overtime loss with 11 points and 17 rebounds including twelve on the defensive glass alone. Golden was one-of-five Bloomfield players who finished with double-figures, led by junior Tianna Smith who netted 19 points, shot 7-for-13 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the line to go along with six rebounds, five steals, four assists and a blocked shot. Smith is the lone Bears player scoring in double-figures with 17.3 points per game on 42.6-percent shooting from the field and 83.6% from the free-throw line (46-55) with 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Senior Ariel Wilson adds 9.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals, while classmate Iman Williams contributes 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. Golden leads the Bears with 8.7 rebounds per game to go with 6.2 points. Bloomfield leads the CACC in scoring defense (54.3 ppg) and ranks fifth for scoring offense (65.5 ppg). The Bears leads the Conference in rebound margin (+6.8) and steals per game (10.8), rank third for field goal percentage defense (.357), fourth for three-point percentage defense (.297), fifth in free-throw percentage (.672) and sixth in field goal percentage (.382).
