Notes: Stonehill, ranked fifth in this week's D2SIDA East Region media poll, has strung together three straight wins after Wednesday's 71-70 victory over Franklin Pierce here at Merkert Gym. The Skyhawks are the top scoring team in the NE-10 with 72.4 points per game and commit the fewest turnovers per game (12.0), ranking third in assists per game (16.4), second for fewest fouls committed per game (14.7), fifth in field goal percentage (.425), second in free-throw percentage (.766) and seventh in three-point percentage (.316). On the defensive side, the Skyhawks rank third for blocked shots per game (3.7),  fourth in rebound margin (+4.7/gm), 15th in scoring defense (65.4 ppg), field goal percentage defense (.426) and three-point percentage defense (.421). Sophomore Kelly Martin (Scituate, Mass.), a third team All-Northeast-10 selection last season, leads Stonehill with 16.4 points per game (4th NE-10), 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists (6th) and 2.0 steals per game (5th), shooting 84.2% at the free-throw line (11th). Senior Paige Marshall (Braintree, Mass.) adds 13.1 points on 51.4-percent shooting, including 51.4% from three-point range, with 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and a steal per game. Sophomore Courtney Walsh (Windham, N.H.) contributes ten points, converting 87.5% of her free-throws, with 2.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and a steal, while freshman Maty Diabate (Holden, Mass.) chips in 9.9 points on 53.7% shooting, converting 73.3% of her free-throws, and 4.7 rebounds per contest.

Notes: Saint Michael's enters tonight's game in search of its first Northeast-10 win of the year and looking to bounce back from a 72-68 setback to Merrimack in upstate Vermont on Wednesday. Saint Michael's received a career-high 20 points off the bench from sophomore Leah Spencer (Brockton, Mass.), who shot 8-of-11, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Senior Makenzie Burud (Red Hook, N.Y.) added 15 points behind an 8-of-8 showing on free throws with five rebounds and two blocks. Spencer leads three Purple Knights averaging double-figures in scoring with 12.7 points per game, shooting 50-percent from the floor and converting 70% of her free-throws with 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists. Murud adds 12.6 points, connecting at 87% from the line, with 10.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per outing. Junior Indira Evora (Somerville, Mass.) contributes 10.4 points, connecting at 80% from the stripe, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Saint Michael's ranks 11th in the NE-10 for scoring with 62.1 points per game, 15th in field goal percentage (.365), sixth in three-point percentage (.317) and fourth in free-throw percentage (.754), while on the defensive end ranking 13th in scoring defense (64.6 ppg), eighth in field goal percentage defense (.369) and ninth in three-point percentage defense (.302).
