Stonehill women’s basketball assistant coach Whitney Edwards, head coach Trisha Brown and sophomore guard Kelly Martin (Scituate, Massachusetts/Scituate) completed their #Chillin4Charity challenge, a fundraiser for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Kay Yow Fund.
Coach Brown was challenged by Assumption College women’s basketball coach Kerry Phayre, Edwards was challenged by University of New Hampshire head coach Maureen Magarity and Southern New Hampshire University assistant coach Mandy Pennewell. Martin was challenged by Southern New Hampshire sophomore Sara Ryan.
Brown has turned the challenge around to Harvard head coach Kathy Delaney-Smith and director of basketball operations Kristan Strout, a 2004 Stonehill graduate, and Roger Williams College head coach Kelly Thompson, a former Brown assistant, and assistant coach Cori O’Kane, a 2012 Stonehill graduate.
Edwards has challenged Rhode Island College assistant coach Rachel Ferri and Martin has challenged teammate Shannon Brown.
