Indoor Season

2014-15: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll fall semester.

2013-14:  Northeast-10 Conference 4x400 Relay Champions. NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director’s Honor Roll both semesters. NE-10 Relay of the Week (4x400-12/11)

2012-13: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters. Participated in six meets for the Skyhawks during the indoor season. Finished 4th in the triple jump event at UMass Boston Invitational (12/1/12) with a jump of 42-02.25. Placed 9th at URI Coaches Tribute Invitational (2/2/13) with a triple jump of 40-05.00. Finished 17th at Northeast-10 Championships (2/16) with a jump of 40-04.00. In the long jump, finished 10th at URI Sorlien Invitational (1/19) with a jump of 19-11.75. Placed 17th at Joe Donahue Games (1/25) with a long jump of 19-10.75. Also saw action on the 4x400m relay team, part of a third-place finish at URI Sorlien Invitational (3:28.87) and a 4th-place finish at Joe Donahue Games (3:30.47).

2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll for fall semester. Competed in 14 individual events over the course of the season both in the long jump and triple jump. Set his personal best (indoors) in the triple jump at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) with a leap of 43-03.75 for 5th place overall. Also, competed in the long jump (20-02.50) at the NE-10 Championships. Posted a mark of 42-05.25 in the triple jump and a mark of 20-07.25 in the long jump at the Boston University Valentine Invitaitonal (2/11/12). Turned in a personal best leap of 20-09.75 in the long jump (7th place) at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitaitonal (2/4/12). Also, competed in the triple jump at the same meet and posted a distance of 41-10.50 (11th place). Ranked 4th overall in the long jump (19-10.75) and 3rd overall in the triple jump (40-10.50) at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11). Finished 5th overall in the long jump (20-05.75) and 6th overall in the triple jump (41-10.50) at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12).

Outdoor Season

2014: All-New England (4x100m relay, 4x400m relay). All-Conference (4x400m relay).

2013: Saw action in six meets for the Skyhawks. Placed 14th at UMass Invitational (4/13) in the 400-meter race, finishing in 51.31-seconds. Finished 8th at Holy Cross Invitational (4/20), running in 51.36. Captured a 10th-place finish (51.65) at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26), and finished 13th at Northeast-10 Championships (5/4) with a time of 50.87-seconds.  In the long jump, finished 7th at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with a 19-01.50 mark. Placed 11th at Duke Invitational (4/6) with a 20-01.25 showing. Captured 8th at Skyhawk Invitational with a long jump of 19-01.50. Finished 20th at the Northeast-10 Championships with a long jump of 19-00.75. Also saw action as part of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams, including a 3rd-place finish in the 4x100m at Holy Cross Invitational (42.91), a 4th-place finish at Skyhawk Invitational in the 4x100m (43.09), and a 6th-place finish in the 4x400m relay at the Northeast-10 Championships (3:23.02).

2012: Competed in five meets for the Skyhawks. Placed 22nd/40 in the UConn Spring Invitational 200m (23.96). Took 33rd/61 in the 200m (23.75) and 18th in the triple jump (38-05.42) at the George Davidson Invitational. Raced to 5th place in the Skyhawk Invitational 200m (23.83) and took 7th in the long jump (20-07.75). Placed 9th at the Holy Cross Crusades long jump (19-06.00).

High School: 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Woburn Memorial High School. WMHS Male Athlete of the Year (2010-11). WMHS Outstanding Athlete of the Year (2011). Middlesex League Outdoor Champions in 2008 and 2011. Middlesex All-League in the triple jump (2011). 3x Middlesex League All-Star (4x100 meter relay, long jump, triple jump). Four year letter winniner in Outdoor track and three year letter winner in ice hockey. Captain of the outdoor track team in his senior year. Captured the 2011 Class B State Championship in the long jump. School record holder in the long jump and triple jump relays. MIAA Division II state record holder in the long jump relay. Qualified for stats in multiple events (4x100 meter relay, long jump, triple jump). New England qualifier in the 4x100 meter relay. MSTCA North Decathlon team champion in 2011. Member of the 2011 Middlesex League ice hockey champions. Also qualified for the MIAA Super 8 Tournament. Member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the WMHS Character Congress Award.

Personal: Born on December 21, 1992 in Woburn, Mass. Son of Karen and Joseph Smith of Woburn, Mass. Has two brothers, Brian and Joseph. His brother Brian is a member of the track team at Boston College. His brother Joseph was a member of the Harvard baseball and hockey teams. Member of Stonehill's LifeSkills Committee. Lists favorite athlete as George Georgaklis.
