Indoor Season

2014: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll fall semester. Athletic Director's Honor Roll fall semester.

2012-13: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Competed in six meets for Stonehill, throwing in the shot put and weight throw events. Placed 6th in the shot put at UMass Boston Invitational (12/1/12) with a throw of 42-04.75. Placed 8th at URI Sorlien Invitational (1/19/13) with a throw of 43-00.25. Set a personal-best mark of 43-05.00 at URI Coaches Tribute Invitational (2/2), good for 11th at the meet. Placed 14th at Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2/16) with a shot put throw of 40-00.75. Placed 13th in the weight throw at Joe Donahue Games (1/25), throwing 39-03.00. Posted a season-high throw of 39-08.50 at URI Coaches Tribute Invitational, placing 29th in the event.

Outdoor Season

2013: Participated in six meets for the Skyhawks, throwing in the shot put and hammer throw events. Placed 11th at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with a hammer throw of 116-11.00. Captured 5th place at Holy Cross Invitational (4/20) with a personal-best mark of 129-08.00. Finished 12th at Northeast-10 Conference Championships (5/11) with a hammer throw of 120-11.00. Placed 7th in the shot put at UMass Invitational (4/13) with a throw of 40-04.75. Took home 2nd at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26) in the shot put with a throw of 43-05.25. Finished 10th at the Northeast-10 Championships, throwing 44-05.25.

High School: 2012 graduate of Wellesley High School. Lettered in Track & Field and Football. Received "Most Improved Thrower Award" sophomore year. Two year track team MVP. Placed third in the indoor state meet and sixth in the outdoor state meet during his senior season. Track team captain senior year.

Personal: Born April 13, 1994 in San Jose, California. Son of Patrick and Louise Griffin. Has three siblings, Jack (17), Emily (17) and Anne (12). Enjoys salsa dancing. Favorite sports team is the 49ers. Chose Stonehill for the excellent academics. Men's Track and Field team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative.
