2012-13: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters. Competed in three pole vault events for the Skyhawks during the indoor season. Placed 3rd at UMass Boston Invitational (12/1/12), finishing at a height of 13-07.25. Saw another 3rd-place finish at Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/7), with a vault of 13-05.25.
2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. USTFCCCA East Region (Pole Vault). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Departmental Award - Chinese. Competed in the pole vault four times throughout the season for Stonehill. Finished 3rd overall out of 13 competitors at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) clearing a height of 13-07.25. Placed 13th overall out of 22 competitors at the Boston University Valentine Invitational (2/11/12) with a height of 13-07.25. Posted his highest mark of the season at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) clearing 14-00.50. Finished 8th overall out of 16 competitors at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) with a height of 14-00.00.
2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (fall semester). Broke his own school record at the Harvard Invitational clearing 14-05.52 in the pole vault. Placed in the top-10 in five out of the six events he competed in during the season. Finished 6th overall at the NE-10 championships clearing 12-11.50. Earned 1st place honors at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (14-02.00). Posted a top-five finish at the Tufts Stampede with a 13-11.25 meters mark. Finished 11th overall at the Boston University Valentine Classic (12-11.50).

Outdoor Season
2013: Saw action in one meet, a 4th-place finish at the Skyhawk Invitational (4/26) in the pole vault, putting up a mark of 13-05.25.
2012: Competed in five meets for the Skyhawks
during the Spring season. Placed 4th/16 in the pole vault
(14-01.30) at the George Davidson Invitational. Took 3rd/11 in pole
vault (14-03.25) at the Skyhawk Invitational. Fought to a 3rd-place
finish in the pole vault (13-05.25) at the Holy Cross Crusades.
Finished 3rd in the pole vault at the Brown Springtime
Invitational.
2011:

Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's
Spring Honor Roll. Holds the school record in the
pole vault at 14-03.25 which he cleared twice during the season.
Posted six top-10 finishes in the pole vault during the outdoor
season highlighted by a 4th place finish at the NE-10 championships
(13-11.25). Placed 2nd overall at the UMass Minutemen Invitational
(14-03.25), 2nd at the Skyhawk Invitational (13-11.25), 3rd at the
Bryant University Invitational (14-00.00), 3rd at the George Davis
Invitational (13-11.25) and 10th overall at New England's
(14-03.25). Finished 7th overall in the 100 meter dash with a time
of 11.59. Placed 33rd overall in the 200 meter dash with a time of
24.13 at the Bryant University Invitational.
High School: 2009 graduate of Masuk High School.
Four-year letterwinner for outdoor track. Earned All Conference and
All Class. Was a runner up state champion in pole vault. Holds
indoor and outdoor pole vautlt records. Won best field athlete and
best vaultor his senior year. Three-year letterwinner for
swimming.
Personal: Born April 24, 1991, in Norwalk, Conn.
Son of Barbara and Kenneth McCann of Monroe, Conn. Has a sister,
Jeanne (24), who swam at Siena College. Majors in business at
Stonehill. Lambda Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society member.
Supports the New England Patriots. Lists Tom Brady as favorite
athlete. Lists placing 10th at New England Outdoor Championships as
his greatest sports moment so far. Completed a semester abroad at
the Beijing Center in China (Fall 2011).
