Indoor Season

2011-12: Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). Competed seven times in the weight throw for the Skyhawks on the season. Posted a personal best throw of 47-feet and 7.75-inches for seventh place overall at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12). Finished 11th overall at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) with a toss of 43-feet and 9.75-inches. Ranked third overall at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11) with a throw of 46-feet and 5.50-inches.Placed seventh overall at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12) with a toss of 45-feet and 5.25-inches.

2010-11: Competed in the weight throw at the Tufts Stampede with a throw of 37-feet and 6.75-inches for 25th place overall.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: Competed in the hammer throw three times during the season posting a personal best throw at the Skyhawk Invitational (143-feet and two-inches). Had a 10th place finish overall in the hammer throw with a toss of 135-feet and five-inches at the UMass Minutemen Invitational. Also competed at the Bridgewater State University Invitational in the hammer throw (36.88 meters, 17th overall). Set a personal best in the discus throw at the Skyhawk Invitatonal with a toss of 116-feet. Also competed in the discus throw at the BSU Invitational (36.27m, 14th) and the UMass Minutemen Invitational (107-feet, 14th).

High School: 2010 graduate of Cheverus High School. Lettered in track, lacrosse and soccer. Honor roll student and Most Improved Award recipient.

Personal: Born December 18, 1991, Portland, Maine. Son of Kenneth Yates and Yeong-Rae An of East Baldwin, Maine. Majoring in management and involved in student government at Stonehill.
