Indoor Season

2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). USTFCCCA East Region (5000 Meters). Competed six times for the Skyhawks over the course of the season in an array of distance events. Finished third overall in the 3,000-meter run at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) in a time of 8:35.61. Placed 18th overall in the 5,000-meter run at the New England Championships (2/24/12) with a time of 15:06.73. Ranked 41st overall out of 98 competitors in the 3,000-meter run at the Boston University Valentine Invitational (2/11/12) with a personal best time of 8:29.69. Finished eighth overall out of 27 competitors in the one mile run at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) in 4:20.44. Placed first overall out of 21 competitors in the 5,000-meter run at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) in 14:47.81, a personal best indoors. Opened up his season with a fourth place finish in the one mile run (4:21.87) at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12).

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Finished 16th overall at New England's in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:10.49. Also posted a season-best time of 15:05.79 in the 5,000 meters at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games. His time of 15:05.79 was the fastest on the team during the indoor season. Ran to a fourth place finish at the NE-10 championships in the 3,000 meters in 8:46.35. Posted a season-best time of 8:38.98 in the 3,000 meter run at the Boston University Valentine Classic Invitational. Competed in the one mile run twice during the season with a fourth palce finish at the Tufts Stampede (4:21.45) and a third place finish at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (4:23.31). Ran two 4x800 meter relays over the course of the season at Tufts and the UNH Tri-Meet.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. All-New England Honors. Earned his second-straight All-New England selection in the 10,000 meter run with a personal best time of 31:14.61 for a second place finish overall. Competed in the 5,000 meter run three times during the outdoor season posting a personal best time, outdoors, of 14:47.08 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Finished third at the NE-10 championships in the 5,000 meters in 15:21.31. Ranked third at the Bridgewater State University Invitational in the 1,500 meter run in 4:15.94. Claimed 10th place at the Skyhawk Invitational in the 1,500 meters in 4:02.71. Ran the two mile at the George Davis Invitational in 9:28.50 (13th place). Also competed in a 4x800 relay at the Skyhawk Invitatioanl running a split of 2:00.9.

2009-10: All-New England Honors. Finished fifth out of 31 runners in the 10,000-meter run in a personal-best time of 31:39.05 at New England's.

High School: 2008 honors graduate of Doherty Memorial High School. Three-year letterwinner. Captained the team as a senior. Telegram and Gazette All-Star. Two-time Inter-high champion in cross country. Four-year letterwinner in indoor and outdoor track. Captained both teams as a junior and senior. National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born on December 31, 1989, in Worcester, Mass. Son of Karen and Martin Polito of Worcester. Has a sister, Stephanie (16). Lists greatest sports moment as beating current teammate Zach Lankow in the mile his junior year of high school when Zach was a senior. Supports the Worcester Tornados independant baseball team.
