Indoor Season

2011-12: Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Competed in five races for Stonehill during the season. Had three top-ten finishes out of five races. Placed ninth overall in the 3,000-meter at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11) in a personal best time of 9:08.82. Finished seventh overall out of 26 competitors at the Tufts Stampede (2/4/12) in the 5,000-meter run with a personal best time of 15:39.47. Ranked 17th overall in the 5,000-meter run at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Indoor Championships (2/18/12) with a time of 16:28.82. Placed tenth overall in the 3,000-meter run in 9:11.07 at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12). Ran a time of 16:02.11 in the 5,000-meter run in his first-ever collegiate indoor race at the Jay Carisella Invitational (12/3/11).

High School: 2011 graduate of East Longmeadow High School. Four-year letter winner for head coach Ryan Corbett. Finished third overall in Western Mass. Cross Country Championships. Served as captain in senior year. Personal bests include a 16:04 in the 5-kilometer and 4:33 in the mile. Placed second in the mile in the Western Mass. Championships his senior year in indoor track. Honors student. Also served as captain on indoor and outdoor track and field teams.

Personal: Born on November 11, 1993 in Syracuse, N.Y. Son of Kristin James and Michael Bagan. Has three sisters, Gabby (12), Sophia (8) and Malaine (13). Majoring in spanish with aspirations to teach the language at a university.
