High School: 2007 honors graduate of Lynbrook High School. Four-year letterwinner in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field.  Voted captain of all three teams as a junior and senior. Recipient of the Dick Ferziger Memorial Award for Nassau County. Earned all-county honors. Named team MVP. Honored with the News-12 Scholar Athlete Award. National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born on April 4, 1989, in New Jersey. Son of Tom and Ginny Lynch of Lynbrook, N.Y. Has two sisters, Carly (20) and Kim (18), and a brother, John (31). Majoring in English with a minor in secondary education. Supports the New York Jets. Lists favorite athlete as Dathan Ritzenhein.
