Records Fall As Skyhawk Men Finish Second 

Results

Event 1 - Women's 100 Meter Dash
Wheaton's Chizoba Ezeigwe topped the list with a time of 12.06. She was followed by Boston College's Teyahnie Boone (12.42), Northeastern's Serena Allen (12.45) and Tufts' Kaleigh Fitzpatrick (12.79). Stonehill's Angela Miller finished sixth (12.83). 

Event 2 - Men's 100 Meter Dash
UMass-Lowell's Johan Rafael (10.77) edged out Stonehill's Torrey Price (10.78) to claim the title. Rafael and Price went head-to-head in the first of four sections. Thomas O'Connor of Bryant (11.11) finished third and was followed by three Tufts runners - Andrew Longley, Phillip Rotella and Kevin Fitzgerald. 

Event 3 - Women's 200 Meter Dash
Boston College's Teyahnie Boone edged out Stonehill's Angela Miller to claim the event title. Miller and Boone battled in the first heat with Boone posting a 25.42 while Miller finished at 26.04. 

Event 4 - Men's 200 Meter Dash
The Skyhawks' Torrey Price blazed his way to an event title with a time of 22.01, just ahead of Bryant's Thomas O'Connor's 22.16. Wheaton teammates Merzudin Ibric and Mark Williamson finished third and fourth. 

Event 5 - Women's 400 Meter Dash
Bryant's Stephanie Montagano took home the title with a time of 59.27, just ahead of Natana Jules of Wheaton (59.44). Stonehill's Amanda Carevale came in sixth with a time of 1:02.40. 

Event 6 - Men's 400 Meter Dash
Tufts Scott Brinkman won the event with a time of 50.64. Stonehill's lone entrant, Mark Pocaro finished in sixth with a time of 52.00.

Event 7 - Women's 800 Meter Run
Lindsey Booth (2:23.60) and Hilary Curtis (2:25.77) both finished in the top 10. Boston College's Alicia Henry finished first with a time of 2:19.90. Wheaton's Meg Brousseau took home second place (2:20.01).

Event 8 - Men's 800 Meters
Boston College had five of the top six finishers led by Jeremy Zagorski's time of 1:56.39. Matt Rigby was Stonehill's top finisher with a seventh place finish (1:59.29).

Event 9 - Women's 1500 Meter Run
Division III All-America Katy O'Brien of Tufts captured the event title with a time of 4:41.73. Boston College's Taylor Meyer (4:50.18) and Brandeis' Grayce Selig rounded out the top three (4:53.03). Lesley Clunie's ninth place finish was the top showing for Stonehill (5:02.38). 

Event 10 - Men's 1500 Meters
Kevin Gill led a trio of Skyhawks to top five finishes in the 1500 meters. Gill finished with a time of 3:59.76, while David Metzger came in third at 4:02.97. Dickie Gerry was fifth with a time of 4:05.38. Boston College's Brendan Collins and Jeffery Klatsky finished second and fourth respectively. 

Event 11 - Women's 5000 Meters
Boston College's Kelly Gross took first place with a time of 17:59.23. Stonehill's trio of Amanda Tripodi, Meghan Murphy and Andrea Topalis finished fifth, sixth and seventh.

Event 12 - Men's 5000 Meter Run
Brandeis' Dan Anastos finished first with a time of 15:38.63, ahead of UMass-Lowell's Tim Guerin (15:50.07) and Stonehill's Zack Lankow (16:04.28).

Event 14 - Men's 10000 Meter Run
Boston College's David Emerson took the lead early and never looked back finishing first with a time of 31:39.54. He was followed by Stonehill's Joe Ryan and Matt Meagher with times of 31:50.95 and 31:58.23. Boston College's Patrick Viklund and Justin Wheat rounded out the top five. 

Event 15 - Women's 100 Meter Hurdles
Ana Kern (16.62) and Katrina Harkins (16.83) earned fifth and sixth place finishes for the Skyhawks. UMass-Lowell's Lauren Raimondi won the event (15:36) and was followed by Bridgewater State's Rachel Smith (15:57).

Event 16 - Men's 110 Meter Hurdles
Bentley's Tim Wallant claimed victory in the event with a time of 16.30. Assumption's Anthony Dowd finished second (16.31) and Tufts Bobby Bardin rounded out the top three (17.01).

Event 17 - Women's 400 Meter Hurdles
Ashley Lane (1:07.14) turned in a third place finish behind UMass-Lowell's Jenna Lapachinski (1:06.52) and Wheaton's Celeste Karpow (1:06.76). 

Event 18 - Men's 400 Meter Hurdles
Indoor All-America Tom Woods produced a second place finish with a time of 54.89 right behind event winner Robert Liekweg of UMass-Lowell (53.62). Tufts' Trevor Donadt (55.32) and Andrew Longley (55.71) rounded out the top four.

Event 19 - Women's 3000 Meter Steeplechase
2007 Northeast-10 Cross Country Champion Nicole Radzik (Bryant) picked up the win with a time of 111:18.16, provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Stonehill's Jen Gardynski finished second with a time of 11:31.37.

Event 20 - Men's 3000 Steeplechase
Stonehill's Jason Lynch collected a fifth place finish with a time of 9:53.46. Tufts Dave Sorensen won the event with a 9:14.76 showing. Boston College's Timothy Ritchie and Daniel Springer finished second and third respectively.

Event 21 - Women's High Jump
Stonehill's Colleen Carmen set a new school record with a jump of five feet, three inches to finish in second place. Erin Neville of Wheaton won the event with a jump of five feet, five inches.

Event 23 - Women's Pole Vault
Boston College collected the top two spots behind Carolyn Rayburn-Hwang (3.35 meters) and Danielle DePalo (3.20 meters). Abigail Ptersen of Bryant finished third (3.05 meters).

Event 24 - Men's Pole Vault
Boston College's Benjamin Kocarnik claimed the event with a vault of 13 feet, 11 and a quarter inches. Northeastern teammates Pable Rodriguez and Brian Daly finished second and third.

 Event 25 - Women's Long Jump
Melissa Hadfield of Boston College won the long jump with a jump of 17 feet, 9.5 inches. UMass-Lowell's Gillian Mundry finished second with a jump of 17 feet even. Stonehill's top finisher was Ana Kern with a leap of 14 feet, 10 and three-quarter inches. 

Event 26 - Men's Long Jump
Tyler Guilmette set a school record with a long jump of 6.88 meters to take top honors in the event. He was followed by Terry Young of UMass-Lowell (6.82) and Wheaton's Kyle Greenidge (6.43).

Event 27 - Women's Triple Jump
Gillian Mundry of UMass-Lowell took home first place with a 10.65 meters showing. That total was just ahead of Boston College's Caitlin McCann's 10.52. Northeastern's Lauren Roscus was third at 10.12 meters. 

Event 28 - Men's Triple Jump
Tufts dominated the event, collecting the top three places, led by Dan Marcy's 14.03 meter effort.

Event 31 - Women's Hammer Throw
Meghan Rocha finished fourth with a throw of 35.93. Bryant's Amber Torrey won the event with a throw of 37.29.

Event 32 - Men's Hammer Throw
Stonehill's Russell Miranda and John Latta recorded top five finishes. Miranda recorded a throw of 46.74 - good for second place - while Latta finished fifth with a toss of 40.54.

Event 33 - Women's Javelin Throw
Bryant's Rachel Martinich's throw of 36.47 meters (119.08 feet) in the second flight captured first place. Assumption's Tina Gillen (33.38 meters) finished second. Brandeis' Quincy Auger wrapped up the top three with a throw of 32.22 meters. 

Event 34 - Men's Javelin Throw
Stonehill's Tom Kilby took top honors with a throw of 54.18 meters. Bryant's Peter Gooding (49.90) and Michael Hull (48.15) rounded out the top three. Event 35 - Women's Shot Put
UMass-Lowell's Jacqui Barrett had a throw of 13.67 meters to claim the event title ahead of Wheaton's Diana Kornberg (11.75 meters).

Event 36 - Men's Shot Put
Stonehill's Pat Fanning and Dan Newton tied for fifth (12.95) while UMass-Lowell secured the top two spots behind Rocky LeFort (15.62) and Cory Murray (15.10). Bridgewater State's Chris Clark finished third (14.25).

Event 37 - Women's 4x100 Meter Relay
UMass-Lowell's Heather McCarthy, Katrina Lutkus, Tristin Johnson and Sharikka Finley-Moise finished first with a time of 49.62 ahead of Tufts ‘A' group who completed the event at 51.29. Bryant's ‘A' rounded out the top three with a time of 51.78.

Event 38 - Men's 4x100 Meter Relay
Wheaton's quartet of Mark Cimino, Howard Powell, Jon Cunha and Merzudin Ibric's time of 42.85 held off the Tufts ‘A' squad of Andrew Longley, Marvin Walker, Jonathan Pak and Phillip Rotella, who finished at 43.48. Stonehill's Torrey Price, Tyler Guilmette, Will Fisher and Danny Richter finished a close third at 43.49.

Event 39 - Women's 4x400 Meter Relay
Wheaton's group ‘A' foursome proved to be too strong, wrapping up the event in 4:00.00 flat. They were followed by Boston College's ‘A' group, who finished at 4:11.58. 

Event 40 - Men's 4x400 Meter Relay
Tufts breezed to a victory in the event behind its ‘A' group of Scott Brinkman, Trevor Donadt, Andrew Longley and Nathan Scott. Their time of 3:25.08 was ahead of Boston College's ‘A' group's 3:27.14.
