PROVIDENCE, R.I.-- Several individuals posted solid performances for both Stonehill outdoor track and field squads during competition on Sunday at the Brown Springtime Invitational.

Senior Vinnie Williams (Springfield, Mass.) led the way on the men's side by posting a pair of victories in the 100 meters (10.81) and 200 meters (21.73) for the Skyhawks, and he was also part of a pair of school record relay events. Williams, seniors Brandon Beloin (Danielson, Conn.) and Derek Hebert (Rockland, Mass.) as well as junior Thomas Woods (Medfield, Mass.) won the 4 X 400 relay in a school record time of 3:19.61, while the 4 X 100 relay team consisting of Williams, junior Danny Richter (Bedford, Mass.) and sophomores Torrey Price (Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) and Tyler Guilmette (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished second in the event with a school record time of 42.14 seconds.

Senior Dana Burbank (North Andover, Mass.) and Woods finished second and third, respectively, in the 400 meter hurdles with times of 55.59 and 55.93, while Guilmette was second in the long jump for Stonehill with a mark of 21 feet, 11 ¾ inches.

On the women's side, senior Dana DeIngenis (Cranston, R.I.) was the first Division II entrant across the line in the 1,500 meters for the Skyhawks with a time of 4:40.95, while sophomore Kristina Coriarty (Brockton, Mass.) finished 10th in the event with a time of 4:46.95.

Both Stonehill squads will compete for their respective Northeast-10 Conference championships on Saturday morning at UMass Lowell's Cushing Track in Lowell, Mass. beginning at 10:00 a.m.
