Four Skyhawks earned All-Conference honors in 2014, led by junior Megan Ruonavaara (Rocky Hill, Connecticut/Rocky Hill), who landed on the first team after batting a team-best .342 (40-for-117) with seven home runs and 29 RBI.

Classmates Megan Staudle (New Windsor, New York/Cornwall Central) and Alison Sumski (Amherst, New Hampshire/Souhegan) collected All-NE-10 second team accolades, while freshman Michelle Carbone (Deer Park, New York/St. Anthony's) was named to both the third team and All-Rookie team.

Head coach Ken LeGrice enters his sixth season at the helm of the softball program in 2015 with an overall record of 107-112-2 (.489), including 76-69-1 (.524) in NE-10 play. The Skyhawks have reached the NE-10 Tournament three times under LeGrice's leadership, including consecutive appearances in 2012 and 2013.

Adelphi University (79 points, two first-place votes) and Le Moyne College (61 points, three first-place votes) rounded out the top-three of the Southwest Division.

Stonehill is set to open its 2015 campaign on Sunday, March 8th against West Virginia Wesleyan College in Clermont, Florida. The Skyhawks will play 12 games in Florida before returning home to host Merrimack College in their home opener at Gartland Field on Wednesday, March 18th.
