EASTON, Mass (May 2, 2013) – Three student-athletes from the Stonehill College softball team were honored with All-Northeast-10 Conference honors as voted by the league's 16 coaches.

Freshman Megan Staudle (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) was named to the All-Conference First Team and the All-Rookie Team. Senior Nicole Eisenmann (East Bridgewater, Mass./East Bridgewater) collected her second consecutive All-Conference Second Team honor, while freshman Megan Ruonavaara (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill) was also named to the All-Rookie Team.

In just her first season with the team, Staudle posted one of the best seasons by a player in team history to earn All-Conference First Team and All-Rookie honors. The freshman outfielder leads the Skyhawks with 58 hits and 37 runs scored. Staudle's 37 runs is the most runs scored by any player in a single season in Skyhawks history. Her 58 hits ranks her third in Stonehill history, just five behind recent graduate Chelsea Stryker.

For the year Staudle is hitting .362 with 58 hits, seven doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 27 RBI, a .396 on-base percentage, and 37 runs scored. She ranks first among NE-10 rookies in runs scored, home runs, and hits. The freshman is in the midst of a seven game hitting-streak; hitting .571 (12-for-21) with two home runs and five RBI in that span.

Eisenmann has also posted record-breaking numbers for the Skyhawks on the year. The senior designated player was named to the NE-10 All-Conference Second Team for her performance this season. Eisenmann led the Skyhawks with a .368 batting average on 57 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, 14 home runs, 46 RBI, 20 walks, a .443 on-base percentage, and 32 runs scored.

Eisenmann's 46 RBI and 14 home runs rank atop the Stonehill record books for most in a single season. This season has added to what has been a prolific career for the senior. Eisenmann now holds the career record for hits (198) and RBI (125) by any player in Stonehill history. She is also among the leaders in all-time home runs (27, 2nd) and batting average (.364, 3rd).

Ruonavaara was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team for her performance in the circle for Stonehill. The freshman has been a true workhorse this season for the Skyhawks, posting a 15-11 record with a 3.01 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 166 innings. The freshman also hit very well for Stonehill during the year. Ruonavaara held a .295 average (31-for-105) with four doubles, six home runs, 22 RBI, 15 walks, and 18 runs scored.
